I’ve been running mine for two years now. The natural leather has taken on a gorgeous patina– I just love the way this strap looks. I liked it on day 1, and it has only gotten better from there. I have beaten the heck out of it and it is holding up wonderfully. My agency issues Boston Leather factory-made radio straps, and I use those same ones on my fire academy job. They get the job done but the quality difference between those and this Axe and Awl strap is plainly apparent– this product is in a different league. There has to be twice as much material here, if not more.
I am super glad I treated myself to this. It’s beautiful, it works great, and it is entirely conceivable that it will last my entire career.
