More Than a Booth…A Place to Connect

Can you believe this year marks 10 years attending SAFRE?! We are greatful for everyone who has been a part of this journey and helps to make attending tradeshows like this one possible.

As you can imagine, a tremendous amount of work goes into preparing for tradeshows. One of the elements we love about attending events like these is reconnecting with folks. Catching up with departments, meeting new firefighters, hearing stories and seeing familiar faces is what keeps us coming back!

A New Look for 2026

If you’ve visited us before, you’ll notice something different this year. We’ve refreshed our booth to better showcase the craftsmanship behind Axe & Awl and create a space where connecting is easy. You can expect a well designed flow, cohesive shared space with Hook & Irons Co., and an area just for Phenix Helmets. (Read all about our partnership with Phenix Fire Helmets here!)

We will have all of our highly sought after leather fire service goods on hand. With on site stamping available (Want it painted? It will come back to the workshop with us and ship out to you as quickly as our painter can squeeze the paint bottles!)

This year we’ve decided to up our radio strap game and will be bringing veg-tan lined radio straps with us! A unique offering and one we know you will love.

See Phenix Helmets Up Close

One of the highlights this year is the opportunity to check out Phenix helmets in person. Whether you’re considering one for your department or simply want to see the craftsmanship firsthand, we’re excited to have them on display and answer your questions.

Here’s what you can expect at Booth 1400:

Over 150 in-stock helmets on the floor. You can pick one up, put it on your head, feel the weight difference, and walk away with it the same day. No more ordering blind. No more bugging your engineer to try his lid on. Just come try one.

On-site customization. Tell us what you’re looking for we’ll work with you right there on the floor to get as close to your vision as possible. We want to help you leave with exactly what you need.
