Between now (mid April) and the end of spring you have not 1, not 2 but 4 opportunities to check out what Axe & Awl is all about outside of crafting leather goods!
With spring’s arrival it can only mean one thing–it’s event season! Come see us at any of the following events:
- 4/20-4/25- FDIC– Indianapolis, Lucas Oil Stadium
- 5/1- Sip, Shop & Stroll (formerly Art After Dark) 6-9pm, Karaoke!!!
- 5/16- 4th Annual Steppin Into Spring, 10-4
- 6/5- Sip, Shop & Stroll- Live music with Phil Thomas!, 6-9pm
A Busy Season Ahead for Axe & Awl Leatherworks
One would think after the holidays things slow down…for us that’s when we really start to ramp up! Prepping for the largest trade show we attend, along with getting musicians and vendors booked for our events throughout the year, are just a few of the tasks we take care of. The shop is always buzzing with excitement.

Booth Info + What We’re Bringing
Here’s what you can expect at Booth 12000 (shared once again with our pals Hook & Irons Co.):
Over 150 in-stock helmets on the floor. You can pick one up, put it on your head, feel the weight difference, and walk away with it the same day. No more ordering blind. No more bugging your engineer to try his lid on. Just come try one.
Leather fire service goods: It should go without saying that we will be bringing our full catalog of firs service gear, but in case you’re not sure what those items are heres a today list for you to peruse:

What to Expect at the Event
Come stroll Depot St. and shop local makers, leather seconds and scraps. Do all of this while drinking a cold beer or giant icecream sandwich from inside our retail shop at 41 Depot St.
Why We Love Spring Markets
Spring markets are a great way to start stretching your legs and warming up from that winter chill. Plus–you get to hang out with some of the coolest people in Waynesville while supporting locals. t doesn’t get any better than that!

Formerly Art After Dark, Newly Branded for a Fresh Season
With spring comes fresh ideas and this year a popular first Friday event got a new name! We are looking forward to seeing everyone out for the first Friday events held throughout Downtown Waynesville and with us at 41 Depot. You can see our full calendar of events lined up here! We’ve got a mix of karaoke and live music, both are perfect with a delicious beverage and a date!

Why In-Person Events Matter to Us
In-person events, whether it be a trade show or event hosted by us, are moments we really look forward to. Connecting with the community and building lasting relationships is what it’s all about. Without community we wouldn’t be where we are right now!
