I have had mine for about two years and it made a BIG difference with the fit of my turnouts. I am lean and don’t have much for hips, and I am the guy with half a dozen tools cached in his pocket– a recipe for slipping pants. The belt really helps. I have harness keepers on my PPE and they do a nice job of keeping this in place, it stows normally and while it is another buckle to contend with, the Cobras are fast, so it doesn’t add consequentially to the time it takes to don the pants. If you find yourself cinching up the little side adjustment pulls on your pants frequently, or if you work in a cold climate and your agency orders PPE large to allow for layering, check this out! It helps, and is extremely robust in its build. Looks great, too.
