In celebration of their beloved shop cat, Ivy, the store is hosting a special fundraiser for FUR (Feline Urgent Rescue) of Western NC, who rehabilitates and rehomes abandoned, abused and neglected cats. This delightful initiative combines fashion, compassion, and the love for animals, inviting everyone to join in and make a difference.
Meet Ivy, the Feline Ambassador:
As soon as you step into Axe & Awl Leatherworks, Ivy’s enchanting presence is sure to capture your attention. Ivy, a charming rescue with mesmerizing green eyes and a personality as unique as the leather goods sold in the store, has become an integral part of the Axe & Awl family. Not only does Ivy provide comfort and joy to the customers, but she also exemplifies the importance of adopting rescue animals, as she herself was once a shelter cat before finding her forever home at the store. When not lounging around the shop in one of her many hiding spots, Ivy can be found unthreading the sewing machine and running through the shop with a spool of thread, practicing her awl skills, zooming up the stairs in a race she always wins or really anything else she decides to do. She is after all the guardian of the shop!

To show their appreciation for Ivy and support the local animal community, Axe & Awl Leatherworks is launching a pre-order campaign for exclusive, fully illustrated shirts designed in honor of Ivy.
