The Apple Harvest Festival is a beloved Waynesville tradition. Taking place on October 21st, 10am-5pm, this event showcases the rich agricultural heritage of the region. Explore a wide variety of apple-themed treats and savor the crisp autumn air while strolling through the charming downtown streets.
Don’t forget to stop down Depot St. to enjoy live music from local bands Borderline Band & Magenta Sunshine. Shop 16 curated local makers & artists while enjoying the crisp air. Stop into Axe & Awl for a beer while enjoying the fall air on our back patio. This festival is an experience that captures the essence of fall. Which, for us, signals the beginning of some festive months ahead!

Prepare for an evening of spine-tingling fun as Axe & Awl Leatherworks transforms into a mysterious realm. Join us on October 28th for Awl Hallows Eve.
This ticketed event offers a unique blend of Halloween thrills. With themed decor, music by DJ MP Pride and food from Bens Backdraft BBQ. Costumes are encouraged, the evening promises to be a night of unforgettable memories, spooky libations & ghoulish dance moves.
November 3rd and December 1st: Art After Dark
The Waynesville Art After Dark events are a perfect way to immerse yourself in the local art scene. Join us for our last Art After Dark events of the season on November 3rd and December 1st, 6-9pm. Downtown Waynesville will come alive with the magic of art. Explore the galleries and studios, meet artists, and enjoy live music and refreshments at your favorite local leather workshop. The November edition is an excellent opportunity to begin your holiday shopping. With so many unique, handcrafted goods you are sure to get a great jumpstart! While the December event is a festive way to kick off the holiday season.
December 9th: Holiday Night Market at Axe & Awl Leatherworks
On December 9th, Axe & Awl Leatherworks takes the holiday spirit to a whole new level with the Holiday Night Market. This signature event features an array of local vendors, offering an eclectic selection of artisanal products perfect for holiday gift-giving. To make this market even more extraordinary, a pop-up tattoo artist will be on hand to add a personal touch to your holiday. A creative menu of festive libations including house made eggnog, and a warm cider will be available to enjoy while listening to We 3 Swing set the mood for a magical holiday.
